Terms of service
Last updated 4 July 2026
Agreement
These terms are between you and Two Shores (“Two Shores”, “we”, “us”), which operates twoshores.app from New York, United States. By using the site, creating an account, or buying anything, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Two Shores.
What Two Shores is, and is not
Two Shores gives you educational information and interactive decision-support tools about US and UK cross-border money. It is not legal, tax, investment, or financial advice, and using it does not create an adviser or professional relationship. We are not a registered investment adviser in the United States, and we are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority in the United Kingdom. For advice about your own situation, speak to a qualified professional. See our disclosures for more.
Your account
You need to be at least 18 to use Two Shores. You sign in with your email, and you are responsible for keeping access to that inbox secure and for what happens under your account. One account is for one person; please don't share your access.
Purchases and pricing
You can buy a single playbook as a one-time purchase (which includes updates to that playbook for 12 months), or subscribe to the Library for an annual fee that renews each year until you cancel. Prices are shown on the site in US dollars.
Payments are handled by Paddle, which is the Merchant of Record and the seller for your purchase. Paddle processes your payment and adds any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are. You can cancel a Library subscription at any time from your account or your Paddle receipt; cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds
Every purchase is covered by a 14-day, no-questions refund. See our refund policy for how it works.
Updates to the content
Playbooks are living documents. When the rules behind them change, we update the content and note it on our changelog. We aim to keep everything current, but we don't promise a particular timing for any given update, and rules can change without notice.
How you can use it
What you buy is for your own personal use. Please don't copy, resell, redistribute, or scrape the paid content, and don't share your account. PDF exports are watermarked to your account. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content you have access to; we do not sell you the content itself.
Our content and marks
Two Shores owns the playbooks, tools, rules library, text, and branding on the site, or has the right to use them. Your access does not transfer any of those rights to you beyond the personal licence above.
No warranty
Two Shores is provided “as is”. We work hard to be accurate and to cite our sources, but we do not warrant that the information is complete, current, or fits your particular situation, and we do not guarantee any financial or tax outcome. Decisions you make, and whether to consult a professional, are yours.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Two Shores is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any decision you make based on the service, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited, including the statutory rights of consumers in the UK and EU.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the service or other users. You can delete your account at any time from your account.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top, and significant changes take effect when we post them (or on a later date we state).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and the United States, and disputes are subject to the state and federal courts located in New York, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in the country or state where you live.
